John Lobenberg is a Program Consultant at Lytx, the industry leader in video telematics. Before joining Lytx, John spent 21 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sargent in 1995. John was then hired by Smith’s Food and Drug, a division of the Kroger Company, as a Safety Specialist and soon after became Division Risk Manager. Throughout his tenure with Kroger, John was promoted to Corporate Regional Retail Safety Manager, the Corporate Safety Manager for Supply Chain, and was responsible for safety in both the Distribution Centers and Transportation Operations. During John’s ten years in Logistics, he was responsible for choosing a telematics program and ultimately championed the implementation of Lytx DriveCam in 2013.
