Millennial Nurses Bring Higher Expectations to the Work Environment

Wed, Jan 16, 2019 11:02 AM PST{LOCAL_TZ}

Millennials are now the largest generation in the U.S. labor force, making up 35% of American workers.  This trend takes on particular significance in the healthcare industry where unprecedented workforce shortages have created recruitment challenges, particularly for qualified nurses.

In this webinar, you’ll hear the results of a new AMN Healthcare report, Survey of Millennial Nurses: A Dynamic Influence on the Profession, which shows how Millennial nurses bring distinct ideas about what constitutes a good working environment and how that affects patient care.

Don’t miss this opportunity to gain new insights about Millennial nurse views on career, leadership, education, workplace practices and more. The webinar will prove valuable information to you on engaging this critical generation that is taking over the nursing workforce.

During this webinar, you’ll learn about:
  • Millennial nurse expectations for the work environment and how that compares to their generational counterparts
  • Millennials’ greater willingness to change nursing jobs to get ahead and their strong interest in leadership roles, higher degrees, and professional development
  • Millennial attitudes toward quality measures, and how they view leadership differently from other generations of nurses
