Kim Reiss Binder, MD will discuss a number of topics related to hereditary pancreatic cancer, such as the risk of pancreatic cancer in BRCA carriers, the differences in treating hereditary cancer patients and recent developments that will hopefully improve their survival, ongoing and current research, and screening protocols to help prevent disease.

Kim Reiss Binder, MD, is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology-Oncology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Reiss Binder’s research focuses on the development of new treatments for pancreatic cancer, as well as other gastrointestinal malignancies. She’s also the recent recipient of the Basser Center Young Leadership Council’s second Young Investigator Award.
