Bob Dolan, Director, Commercial Vehicle and Government Programs, IAV Automotive Engineering

Bob Dolan is the Director of Commercial Vehicle and Government Programs at IAV Automotive Engineering Inc. He is responsible for business development and oversight of powertrain development and integration work for commercial, heavy-duty, and government sector programs. Before joining IAV in 2011, Bob was a Senior Manager of product engineering and design at MTU Detroit Diesel Inc., where he established a product design organization and led development programs in the Detroit facilities. This included a 13-month special assignment leading the performance and emissions team. He also worked as a Design Section Leader at Ricardo Inc., leading the design and development of a diesel engine program, and was a technical expert in military equipment diesel engine power pack reliability issues and HD diesel engines.

Allison Plunkett, Manager, Application Design and External Application Engineering, John Deere

Allison Plunkett is the Manager of Application Design and External Application Engineering at John Deere. She is responsible for the engineering of OEM engines, including marine, power generation, and industrial segments, in addition to leading design teams for internal and external applications. Throughout her nearly 20-year career, Allison has held roles in program management, engine development, and aftertreatment in the off-highway and on-highway industries. She has a BSME from the University of Notre Dame, an MSME from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from Oakland University.

James Reed, CEng, Technical Sales Manager, Perkins Engines Ltd.

James Reed is a Technical Sales Manager at Perkins Engines Ltd., where he is responsible for technical collaboration with OEMs and business development with new customers across the industrial engine sector. With more than 15 years of experience in on- and off-highway heavy-duty diesel engine development, he has held roles in engine platform management as well as aftertreatment, performance and emissions, and fuel systems development.

Sameera Wijeyakulasuriya, Principal Engineer, Convergent Science

Dr. Sameera Wijeyakulasuriya is a Principal Engineer at Convergent Science, where he leads one of the application teams supporting IC engine clients. He also manages client training of CONVERGE software in the U.S. Sameera has more than 10 years of modeling experience in internal-combustion engines and has authored many publications on constant volume combustion, shock-flame interaction, detailed chemistry modeling in internal-combustion engines, and premixed and non-premixed engines with single and multi-fuels. He has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Purdue University, where he studied pressure gain combustion devices for power generation.
