Emerging Markets: Searching the world for opportunity

Wed, May 2, 2018 2:01 PM EDT{LOCAL_TZ}

Fears about emerging market vulnerabilities have kept many institutional investors on the sidelines for the past several years, and some of those fears still linger. But a close look at emerging market economies, currencies and capital markets, in context of the developed world, suggests that opportunities are, well, emerging.

This webinar discussion will cover all the major areas of emerging markets that matter to investors: equities, fixed income and debt and, of course, China. In addition, our panel will frame the discussion in light of global economic growth, a weakening U.S. dollar and global trade uncertainty. Specifically, the panel will discuss:

  • The case for emerging markets today
  • The macroeconomic backdrop
  • How to factor currencies into the equation
  • Building – or increasing – an allocation to emerging markets
  • Individual emerging markets and opportunities
The panel will also take questions from the audience.
