M. Scott Taylor, Ph.D. Chief Technology Officer, Poly-Med, Inc.

Dr. Scott Taylor is the Chief Technology Officer at Poly-Med, Inc., specializing in material selection and medical product design. He has worked on development teams for more than fifteen marketed medical devices and is experienced in the application of novel materials and processes, product design and development, manufacturing services, application and creation of intellectual property, as well as physical and chemical testing protocols.

Dr. Taylor has undergraduate degrees in physics and mechanical engineering from Furman University and Clemson University, respectively, and completed his doctorate in Bioengineering from Clemson University. Through his tenure, Dr. Taylor has published numerous papers and book chapters, and is inventor for several patents in the US and worldwide. In addition to his position at Poly-Med Inc., he maintains an appointment adjunct faculty at Clemson University.
