Barry Derrick is part of the ADTRAN global product management team with more than 16 years’ experience in technology marketing and management, currently focusing on 10 Gigabit ONUs and optics as well as Radio Frequency over Glass (RFoG). Previously at ADTRAN, Barry was a product marketing manager for Next generation and Gigabit Broadband technologies directed at the residential, enterprise and mobile access markets.  In 2010, he joined ADTRAN from General Electric where he held various roles in product marketing and marketing communications.

Kara Mullaley

Kara Mullaley is the Global FTTx Marketing Manager with Corning Optical Communications. Kara has 19 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, primarily supporting major network operators in the deployment of broadband networks worldwide. She is a subject matter expert on best practices for fiber deployment, architecture, and solutions to address tough deployment challenges, including meeting today's rising bandwidth and application demands. She has delivered technical sessions at various FTTx conferences and has also been published in several trade publications.
Based in Hickory, North Carolina, Kara graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Jimmy Gagnon

Jimmy Gagnon has been working for EXFO in optics and telecommunications for over 12 years holding different positions, making his way up to Product Line Manager in the marketing group. Jimmy has been supporting and developing the OTDR business for four years now, specializing in FTTH and CATV markets. Besides this direct experience in telecommunications, Jimmy worked for three years as a major account manager for a Quebec company in electronics, acquiring important skills in project management and customer relations. Jimmy holds a technical degree in Electronics from Limoilou College, Quebec City.
