About the Speakers

Tony D’Astolfo, a 35-year travel industry veteran with deep expertise in travel and technology, rejoined Deem as senior vice president and chief commercial officer. Previously, he was managing director of Phocuswright research and consulting; chief sales officer for tech-enabled ground transportation company GroundLink; and senior vice president of travel services at Deem/Rearden Commerce. Earlier, he also worked at GetThere and United Airlines.

Michelle De Costa has more than 25 years of travel industry expertise managing travel for corporations, travel management companies and an airline. As director, category strategy & corporate travel for Liberty Mutual, De Costa uses a connected thinking approach to create extraordinary experiences for her people in the air and on the ground in an always-on, hyper-connected world. BTN named her Travel Manager of the Year in 2011, as well as one of the 25 Most Influential Executives for her pioneering work in social media. She strives to push the boundaries of status quo to make travel and overall experiences easier.

Andy Menkes, a 30-year industry veteran with a varied background in the airline, travel agency and corporate travel management sectors, is the founder, CEO and chairman of Partnership Travel Consulting. While managing travel for Republic New York Corp. in January 1997, he became the first travel manager to secure ARC accreditation as a Corporate Travel Department. BTN named him Travel Manager of the Year in 1999, one of the 25 Most Influential Travel Executives in 1998 and 2000, and in 2014 inducted him into the Business Travel Hall of Fame.
