Beyond Fatigue: A Closer Look at Why Bearings Fail

Available On Demand until: August 16, 2018

When bearings are designed and specified into an application, rating life is typically the primary factor that determines their suitability. While there are methods to incorporate additional environmental factors into bearing life calculation, the end result is still primarily a prediction of fatigue life. This presentation will explore some of the many elements – as well as their effects – that can contribute to premature bearing failure.
