William A. Shaw is a Senior Process Engineer for Veolia Water Technologies. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.S. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He has 35 years experience in process design of evaporator and crystallizer systems. In the power generation industry, he has designed zero liquid discharge systems for wastewater from cooling towers, FGD scrubbers, and gray water from coal and petcoke gasification plants. He has published articles in journals such as POWER, CHEMICAL ENGINEERING, WATER WORLD, and ULTRAPURE WATER.
