Dietary Interventions for Wellness

Presenter: Ellen Mowry, MD is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore where her research focuses on environmental factors that might alter MS risk, or its prognosis, with a particular interest on diet and the microbiome.

An MS-specific diet has not yet been identified; however, several dietary factors may be important as contributors to MS risk and potentially progression of disease. Dr. Mowry’s presentation will review the most current evidence on diet and dietary factors and the potential impact on multiple sclerosis.
