More institutional investors than ever understand the importance of integrating ESG factors into their investment process: It offers a more complete picture of business opportunities, aligns values, helps reduce risk and can improve returns.

At the same time, ESG investing suffers from a confusion of definitions and terminology and competing methods of implementation.

This webinar will provide a solid foundation of what ESG means today. It will reveal new advances in ESG in terms of impact, measurement, building customized solutions and more, with many of these cutting-edge trends not yet widely known to most institutional investors. Specifically, our panel will address:

  • How to incorporate “non-financial” factors into the investment process and why they are financially material,
  • Advances in impact measurement and the revolution in data driven solutions,
  • Current investment opportunities,
  • Selecting an ESG manager: What institutional investors need to know including due diligence processes,
  • Regulatory drivers of ESG.

An overall theme of the webinar is that there will be a convergence between ESG and ‘traditional’ investing. As ESG become mainstream, the real risk will be for asset owners who don’t consider ESG factors in their investment processes.
