Patrick Collins, a Solutions Engineer at Exelis Visual Information Solutions, uses a deep understanding of challenges facing the D&I industry to provide defense professionals with unique insight into how technology can be used to promote reliable decision making. His focuses include GIS, remote sensing analysis, LiDAR, and cloud-based solutions. He's presented on topics such as these at several conferences in the past including the GEOINT Symposium, ILMF, Esri Federal GIS Conference and Esri International User Conference.

James Goodman is President and CEO of HySpeed Computing, a technology start-up in Miami, FL, whose mission is to create the most effective analysis tools for deriving and delivering information from geospatial imagery. James obtained a BA in Engineering from Dartmouth College, a MS in Civil Engineering from University of Colorado, Boulder, and a PhD in Hydrologic Sciences from University of California, Davis. His expertise includes remote sensing, software development, mathematical modeling, imaging spectrometry, and high-performance computing.

Marisa Gioioso, a Research Scientist at Milcord LLC, has over 10 years' experience in research and development of scientific computing and technological systems. She has led or contributed to Defense Department SBIR projects including topics in information management (semantic web), machine learning, information assurance, video processing, satellite remote sensing, and weather impacts systems. She is the lead scientist for Milcord’s Decision-theoretic Route Planner, which performs multi-vehicle multi-depot routing under many constraints, including NIIRS image quality requirements.
