 Hans Van den Wijngaert, COMOS Walkinside Business Development Manager, Siemens S.A./N.V.

Hans Van den Wijngaert graduated in 1996 as a Master in Mechanical Engineering from KUL University in Belgium. During 10 years he held different technical positions at the software companies CADSI & LMS, working in the field of Computer Aided Engineering Simulation Solutions for the Mechanical Industry. In 2006 he joined VRcontext, the Belgian company that developed the 3D Virtual Reality software Walkinside for the Process Industry, where he worked as Sales Director. In 2012 he joined Siemens COMOS Industry Solutions as a result of the Siemens acquisition of VRcontext, where he currently holds the position of COMOS Walkinside Business Development manager.

Aaron is an engineer who has worked at nuclear, biomass, and coal power plants, where he gained significant operations, maintenance, safety, financial, and management experience. He has also served in the Navy, earned a BS in nuclear engineering technology from Thomas Edison State College, holds an MBA in financial management from City University of Seattle, and is credentialed as a Chief “A” Boiler Engineer.
